Penalty points system: -Self Spin caution with no one else involved will be 10 points. -Caution with damage to another driver will be 20 points for person that caused it. -Caution for blown motor with no damage to anyone will be 0 points. 1) If you receive 60 penalty points during the season then you will be placed on a 1 race suspension. 2) If you receive 80 points for the season you will be asked to sit out the rest of the season. Once you receive a points penalty.......every race after the one you received the penalty and that you do not have any other penalties you will have 10 points deducted from your points total. So for example you have a bad race and cause two cautions that cause other's damage and you receive a 40 point penalty then if after 4 races you do not receive anymore penalty points your total will be back at 0. ( this is a 10 point reduction of your penalty points per race if you avoid causing any incidents ) If you went two races and then had a self spin with no damage your total will be 30 points. (20 points taken away for the two races with none and add 10 for the self spin with no damage.)
